Debbie Stark worked for The Division of Services for People with Disabilities for over 18 years. She studied Spanish for two and a half years.

Born and raised in Utah, she continues to live there with her husband of forty-nine years and their dog Barkley. She has two children and seven grandchildren. Debbie believes that accepting people’s differences and loving one another is vital to making everybody feel welcome and loved in an increasingly diverse world. She encourages all her readers to do the same.

Debbie likes to walk, read, and enjoys listening to music, and as of late writing. She decided to write her first story about two friends because she had a friend that was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. Though this is not her friend’s story, she couldn’t help but think about what their friendship was like before she lost her to Alzheimer’s.

Debbie’s love for writing has encouraged her to keep writing. She has started a second novel. She will keep you updated on its progress and hopes that you found The Path of Friendship – What She Didn’t Remember interesting and informative.
